    Product of organic farming (Produkt ekologického zemědělství)

    A return to classic agriculture with the maximum limit of chemistry, but with the use of modern technology. This is how organic farming, producing organic food, can be characterized.

    When processing honey, dairy products, meat, fruit and other organic foods, artificial flavorings, dyes, substitutes, or any additives may not be used. The label "bio" may not be used for genetically modified food.

                              

     

    KLASA - emphasis on quality (KLASA – důraz na kvalitu)

    Since 2003, the Minister of Agriculture has awarded the KLASA tricolour mark to quality food products. During the evaluation, the main emphasis is placed on quality and uniqueness in relation to other products on the market. The klasa brand is granted for three years, after which the quality is checked again. But even if the pre-given standard is not met during this period, the product may lose the KLASA label.

                      

    Regional food (Regionální potravina)

    Regional food helps promote domestic products

    Regional food is a brand that helps promote quality traditional food on the Czech market. It is awarded to food or agricultural products that are produced in the relevant region and come mainly from domestic raw materials. The right to use the Regional food brand lasts for six years.

                     

     

    A guaranteed traditional specialty (Zaručená tradiční specialita)

    A guaranteed traditional specialty is an exclusive label.

    The special nature of traditional specialties is linked to the use of traditional ingredients, composition or traditional method of production or preparation. In the Czech Republic, only four products have this label.

     

                               

    Healthy food ("Zdravá potravina.cz")

    Healthy food in the form of a green apple is a new label. This logo is intended for food that meets complex criteria for its composition, nutritional composition, content of food dyes, aromas, its origin and packaging. It is the only logo that looks at food from multiple perspectives and evaluates it as a whole according to the principles of a healthy lifestyle.
