Collaborative story

  • Ideas and the link here from teachers bulletin:

Our common story has a temporary tittle " A boy from Syria". It is a google doc and story about a 13y old boy, Jacob, and his story as a refugee...He has a sister Ivy and the story begins as a narration from the time he learned about war...we want to talk about refugees cause we are shocked of all these deaths of people trying to arrive to our country. Any partner can continue the story in any turn we wish and include his journey to Greece....or anything

    Some hints from this video:

7 year-old Malak is one of 8 million children whose lives are in ruins because of the Syrian conflict. She tells the story of her terrifying journey across the Mediterranean to safety. #ChildrenofSyria need our help. For more info, please visit: www.nolostgeneration.org, www.childrenofsyria.info

    • Aranza, if you have a suggestion about order partners writing or any other ideas, you are very very welcome. I have never worked in a collaborative story before and i am not sure what is the best way. Petroupolis, will get back in the story again, we will continue after you. The idea is that we right in any order as the story evolves we go back and write again

A collaborative story is a nice idea. I think it would be easier if there is a plan of order for each school.

Hi! The google doc is perfect! As we are many many schools I think it´s better if any of us writes there when possible, without any order... this way it´s more flexible and we can write there from time to time, as Athanasia says.
      - We should add at the end of our text which school has written the text.
      - Texts shouldn´t be too complicated...our pupils should write them in a simple English.
      - We should not introduce too many characters and should try to create a not very complicated plot.
      - It would be a good idea to fix a deadline for ending the story.
-A new Page for the link to the collaborative story would be fine too.
Go ahead with this new activity, Myriem´s friends!! :)
