  • Musical Instruments

    Step 1

On the occasion of the morning song of "good morning" we learned that with our mouths, ears and hands we can do many things. With our mouths talking, singing, shouting... to produce SOUND, with the ears listening to all these sounds and with our hands to create them.

    Step 2

We closed our eyes, we were quiet and tried to hear with our ears various sounds inside and outside the classroom... We heard from the next class kids talking, ringing the phone, steps, door closures, birds in the yard singing, cars. Then we made sounds with our mouths from different animals and recognized them.

    Step 3

We met the musical instruments of our class, named them, heard their sound and learned about them. We then divided them into three categories: wind, percussion, strings. We learned about the conductor and how he uses his hands to help musicians play musical instruments. We learned the quiet and the strong, the fast and the slow. We heard loud and quiet music, music happy, sad, horror.

    Step 4

We built our own music orchestra and played with the musical instruments following the conductor's instructions.

    Step 5

We learned the song "Mrs. Music". We met her seven children, the «notes» and also that she lives in a house called a pentagram and to get into it they need a key to the key of SOL. We painted the notes and the "Mrs music".

    Step 6

We built our own musical instrument "MARAKES" with recyclable materials and played with them. The sound we made at the end reminded us a lot of the rain and we loved it!

    Carnival Toys

    1st game cane with candy

A Halloween custom in Kastoria is the "Χascaris". At the edge of a rolling pin, a thread is tied with a boiled egg. We replaced the egg with a candy and the children without using their hands, they were trying to bite and catch the candy.

    2nd game flour with candy

In Galaxidi on Clean Monday, they do not play with serpentines and paper warfare, but play "flour war" with basic material of course flour. So we thought we'd play with a flour. In saucers we put flour and a candy. The kids were trying to catch the candy with their mouths.

    3nd music and song

On the occasion of the Carnival song "how they rub the pepper" we sang it and with movements we reproduced it.
