Investing in Democracy, Environment and Economy:In view of the second Mobility to Vasa, Finland, the paricipant students and teachers had the opportunity to explore the topic of Democracy, Environment and Economy through interviews and meetings with experts and professionals who specialize in environmental and economic issues of the area where they live.

• On 22nd March 2019 the participant students and teachers met Mr N.Aslanoglou, a member of the ecological team of Veria,and were informed about agricultural waste in Veria fields and inthe nearby riverside area.

• On 28th March 2019 the participant students and teachers interviewed Mrs A.Filinda, a Quality Control Officer of a local agricultural, cooperative enterprise. The interview and the follow-up discussion focused on environmental sensitivity and democratic, participatory management.

• On 29th March 2019 the participants visited "Epsilon" company and had the opportunity to see how a privately-owned business invests in sustainability and manages organic waste efficiently in order to produce biofuel and electricity.
