Greece hosting the First Transnational Mobility Activities on "Democracy and Environment in Institutions": The following activities and preparation work took place during the week that 5th General Lyceum of Veria hosted the Transnational Learning Activities (14-19/01/2019)

• Opinion survey on the way and the degree to which the school (5th General Lyceum of Veria) operates on the basis of democratic values.

• On 23rd November 2018 the participant students and teachers visited the Centre of Education for Sustainability in Naoussa (a nearby small town), where they were informed about the endless exploitation of natural resources and the way the Centre can help young people change their attitudes and become more sensitive and environmentally aware. The participants were also informed about the concept of Sustainability and its pillars (environment, society, culture, economy).

• On 26th November 2018 the participant students and teachers visited and interviewed the Deputy Mayor for Sustainability and the Environment (Democracy and Sustainability at the level of Municipality).

• On 12th December 2018 the participants had a meeting and interviewed Mr M.Tremopoulos on European Union actions related to environmental issues and sustainability.
