Our school organized a STEM festival with other schools of the area. It was named "RoboPlay"With it educational robotics arrived in the main square on Saturday 5 October 2019

RoboPlay is the ISIS Valdarno event dedicated to educational robotics and aimed at children of lower secondary schools, primary schools and even smaller children. The event, which is part of a series of Saturday events organized organized by Confcommercio, the local trade and commerce association of San Giovanni Valdarno, was hosted in Piazza Cavour starting from 4.30 pm and included the participation of Institutions and schools from all over the Valdarno area.

Many projects were presented and the activities carried out among the various stands of the schools, including activities with LEGO WEDO robots programmed by tablet and the programming of MBOT, BEE BOT, MIND and LEGO MINDSTORM robots. It was possible to watch activities carried out on the competition fields used for the past national educational robotics championships hosted by ISIS Valdarno "Robocup Junior Academy".

The classes of the primary school of Comprehensive School "Don Milani" of Piandiscò, those of Comprehensive School "Marconi", of SS. Annunziata School and Comprehensive school "Masaccio" of San Giovanni Valdarno, in addition to Comprehensive school "Giovanni XXIII" of Terranuova Bracciolini.

An important participation was that of the small students of the Nursery School from Comprehensive School of Bucine, and Montalto, demonstrating that it is never too early to approach robotics and coding concepts
