Portuguese dance

Let’s dance!!! Folklore is the culture of a people, the set of cultural traditions of the knowledge, beliefs, customs, dances, songs and legends of individuals of particular nation or locality. At Chamusca, there are many forms of folklore but the dances are one of the most known and traditional. Many of our students belong to groups of dance. In this video, we may see our Erasmus students teaching how to dance “Verde Gaio” and after that you can see a professional group dancing the same music. “Verde Gaio” is one of the most typical dances in our region, Ribatejo, and usually is played with a barrel organ or an harmonica. Enjoy it and if you want try to dance it!!!
