The objective of A NOD TO OUR HERITAGE is to help our students become European citizens for their future while learning actively improving their competences. In order to do this, participating students coming from four similar towns in Greece, Poland, Portugal and Spain will get to know each

other, teach and learn from one another. They will dive into their origins and roots to find out what makes them unique and different, reflecting on how important it is to know about their CULTURAL HERITAGE so as to keep, but also update our main traditions and make our culture last. Nevertheless, when doing research on their roots, ancestors’ traditions, the development of their hometown and historical events, the students will be becoming capable of valuing and respecting others’ heritage as well, which they will learn about thanks to the activities and mobilites planned. Thus, the students will have the opportunity to reflect on how similar we may all be even if belonging to different countries, since the European identity is a commonly shared feature that will enable them to make the differences among them create strong bonds. All this research will be reflected on a TOURISTIC GUIDE of each participating town entirely created by the students. All the products will also be published on diverse platforms online, such as a NOH website, Erasmus+ Project Results Platform, e-Twinning, Facebook and so on.
