  • 2020-2021 a covid-19 school year...

The current school year started in Greece in a special and unprecedented way. Due to measures to prevent the transmission of the coronavirus, the first day at school was not reminiscent of any previous school years. The students - all in masks - gathered in the courtyard and, under the supervision of the teachers, lined up in sparse rows. The Principal informed them about the operation of the school and asked everyone to pay special attention to keeping the distances. He announced the extension of the European projects of the school, informed the new students about them and inivited them to join. He pointed out that extra curricular activities will be carried out online. He also added that the already planned Erasmus+ mobilities and postponed due to covid-19 will not be held for the time being, as the the Ministry of Education istructs.

Nobody liked these announcements and everyone wished to end this difficult situation quickly and return to usual rhythms.

Today Thursday September 27, 2018 was the first meeting of our project team. The students were looking forward to this gathering and were full of questions about activities and trips. They loved the idea of exchanging information about their place and history with their peers from the other participating countries. The younger kids were excited, while the older ones, who had the experience of other Erasmus+ projects, undertook to inform them about the way of working. The good mood was diffused throughout the meeting. Finally, the group was photographed and gave an appointment for next week.
