MOCK ELECTIONS IN II LO (POLAND)
On 15th May Polish students held the mock elections. We followed the same procedures as the Polish electoral commission would. We created groups that had different tasks.First, we created descriptions of the election programs of each committee - Konfederacja Korwin Braun Liroy Narodowcy, Wiosna Roberta Biedronia, Koalicja Europejska, Prawo i Sprawiedliwość, Lewica Razem, Kukiz 15, Polska Fair Play . Some of us had the job of informing our fellow students from every class about the rules of the elections, we showed them how to fill out the election card.
Polish school has started information campaign in their school:
Together with the school Citizenship Education Club and history/civics teachers who are responsible for the organization the noticeboard started to be filled with contents.
Unfortunately at present the activities have been stopped as in majority of schools teachers are on strike (the protest started on 8th April).
Here we are after all "turbulences". Have a look at our finished work accessible to all students of our schol:
We've decided to inform only about the most serious parties/coalitions running for the European Parliament. The rest are described here:

Two of our students formed an electoral commission. They were checking if every person takes only one election card and also kept record of every person who has voted.
The election went on with any surprises. After making sure that every class took place in the election, we counted the votes.
Konfederacja received 22 votes which is 22,8% of the valid votes. Wiosna also received 22 votes which is 22,8% of the valid votes. Koalicja Europejska received 22 as well which is 22,8% of the valid votes. Prawo i Sprawiedliwość received 20 votes which is 20,6% of the valid votes. Lewica razem received 2 votes which is 2% of the valid votes. Kukiz 15 has received 6 rotes which is 6% of the valid votes. Polska Fair Play has received 3 votes which is 3% of the valid votes.
Afterwards an official record was made. It was signed by the student committee and teachers who took care and organized the whole event:
Besides our coordinator -Ms Anna Pławecka, we got support from our history and civics teacher - Ms Małgorzata Kurnik:
Now we know how important it is to vote and create democracy.
