Reactions to surveys

  • My reaction to the survey

    Adelina

I think the survey has nothing to do with politics.

    Lena

The people who say that they use the phone less than two hours are lying, because in our generation we always use our phone.

    Linh

My reason about the survey is, that I am not alone with my social media problem.

    Alina

Maybe are some people lying to them answers

    Larissa

My Opinion on the Survey : you can see that the people are very often on the Internet or social network. But not for Political News or somethink else.

    Fahrie

Most of them are intersted what the new Generation do on socila media and for what they use it.

    Nils

I think the Survey shows good how Teenager use social media and smartphones

    Ania

To be honest, the results are not surprising. It isn't hard to notice that the majority of teenagers spend a great deal of their time on surfing the Internet. Having a smartphone with numerous functions and apps makes it easier to keep in touch with friends, read books or watch TV series, which affects the amount of time spent online. My own view is that, on balance, technology can be both beneficial and detrimental to our society.

    Adam

I'm not surprised of the survey's results. We are all in the same or similar age so I know perfectly how Internet and social medias are important for us. The only thing that I try to figure out is how far addicting Internet can be. I don't find it bizarre that many teens spend long hours in front of their smartphones' screens but some of them are real freaks :)))

The German students discussed the results of the survey using the worksheet above.

They believe that to be a responsible voter

    • you need to have your own opinion
    • you should be fair to other voters and keep your vote secret
    • you need to be informed about politics
    • you should have knowledge about the election you are taking part in
    • you need to know about the parties and their aims so that you can choose wisely.

They all do not feel fit for voting. Most of them do not use the internet to find political information because they

    • think it's boring
    • don't understand
    • are not interested.

Sometimes they look at news from their hometown if it's not too complicated and they try to follow the important national news.

They pointed out that you can also find politician on twitter and instagram so you could follow these people. But they personally use social media for private communication to keep in touch with friends.
