We have earth hour in our school every year

We celebrate the Earth Hour in the school every year. Normally the Earth our is on Saturday everywhere in the world. As we are not in the school on Saturdays we have the same event on Friday. the target is to to save as much electricity as we can by for example switching off the lights and not using mobile phones.

Earth hour lasts for an hour in our school, but some people do it all day or evening. Earth hour is a tradition in our school, as we have been doing it for many years. In our school, student are being encouraged to do environmentally friendly decisions also at home. The students in our school have different opinions about the Earth hour, but most of them are in favor of it.
