DAY 1 (8 February 2021)

  •

The first day began with a greeting from the host, the project coordinator, and the principal addressing the participants. The principal emphasized that this virtual mobility is also a different and new opportunity for learning.

The coordinators also briefly outlined the goals and expectations.

We continued with a video that the students prepared to bring closer our country, our city and school to all the participants.

A short report from the 6th grade followed.

The students met for the first time in the BREAKOUT rooms.

Students are divided into five groups named after Croatian cities (Zagreb, Rijeka, Zadar, Dubrovnik and Osijek). Each group has a host, a student from our school.

Through a few prepared ice-breaking online games, students introduced themselves to the group and had the opportunity to get to know each other closer.

The first day ended with a discussion in which students participated in the eTwinning portal.

A student from Portugal, Leonor, has prepared an excellent article, The Climate Crisis -Hugest Crisis of this Generation, and opened a discussion with the question, Have you approached this topic in any of your classes?
