Communication - Experiment

    The topic for research

    All partner schools organize an experiment „Communication Gadget Free Week, carry out

            a survey to identify advantages/disadvantages, make a video interview (English or subtitled).  

            Outcome: presentation of survey results and the video interviews

    EXPERIMENT AT SCHOOL. SURVEY questions for all project partner countries:

    Please copy this for every pupil who takes part in the experiment. Then summarize the result into one joint table and bring it as a PC file (excel or word)

    Please, make a video with 2-4 pupils who kept going for 7 days and those who did not even start/broke very soon.  Ask them to explain how did they feel during experiment.

    10 of the Romanian students participated in this study. For 5 days they communicated or tried to communicate only through gadgets. And the result was:

    • a student dropped out immediately because he found it more interesting to play with the children and motivated that he had a problem with his eyes and he found it healthier to communicate face to face
    • 5 Students communicated by phone, both call and sms and it seemed very easy, they kept up all week. And they confessed that it was an interesting experience and they really liked it. One of them confessed that it was easy for him to communicate only by texting because he is shy and becomes agitated and nervous when he has to communicate face to face.
    • 4 students kept in touch with other students through Messenger and they liked it a lot because mess is their daily communication network, also there is the communication group of the class.
    • 1 student partially managed to keep up with the mess, I found it very difficult and tried as much as he could but managed only a few days

    As for Pc, it was difficult for the 5 students, managing only a few days to communicate by email or abandoning the task.
