Mediterranean diet

  • About Mediterranean cuisine

The food is fresh, simple, fragrant, (and) tasteful and especially healthy, and the Mediterranean cuisine has the tastiest recipes.

The most important and interesting aspect is that fresh ingredients are always used.

Tomatoes ripened in the Mediterranean sun, greens, eggplants, zucchini, seafood and wholemeal flours turn Mediterranean cuisine into one of the healthiest diets of the day. Some research on the benefits of the Mediterranean diet has shown positive effects on weight loss, blood glucose levels and decreased depression.

Example: spaghetti aldente with a delicious tomato, garlic and basil sauce, or a delicious tzatziki made from fresh yogurt and pitta with wholemeal flour.
