PROJECT AIMS
We aim to have English lessons with different activities in the same timetable with our partnres so we can teach the same things in different classes from different countries with same aged students. We can have different and creative experiements while teaching English in our classes with our students together.
We will use web2 tools and try them with all partners. Online tools and resources will have made it easier for teachers to instruct students, and for students to collaborate with those teachers and with other students . These “Web 2.0” teaching tools aren’t magical, but they may seem to defy definition at times since they will save time, help you to stay organized, and often take up little space on a computer. Innovative teachers are using the networked nature and ease of Web 2.0 to create virtual extensions of their classrooms. So we aim to teach English by using these enjoyable and creative tools while having connect with different cultures and traditions in the world.
Building 21st Century Skills.
Learning and innovation skills: critical thinking and problem solving, communications and collaboration, creativity and innovation.
Digital literacy skills: information literacy, media literacy, Information and communication technologies (ICT) literacy
Career and life skills: flexibility and adaptability, initiative and self-direction, social and cross-cultural interaction, productivity and accountability
Young kids thrive on praise and positive attention from the adults in their lives. If teachers want students to like them and be motivated in their classes, the teachers often just need to give them a lot of positive attention.Children learn through play. Oftentimes they don't even realize they are learning if they are enjoying the game. Just think, children could sit there and fill out worksheet after worksheet or they could play an English game and learn the same concepts. Which would you rather do?So we can think that by implementing new teaching methods and new school activities in the curriculum, the pupils will bring a good language aquisition and a good sense of safety. They can come face to face with the pupils from different nations and raise their self-consiousness and achieve a sense of self esteem as a result of collaborative work. At the end of this project both students and teachers will have a vital addition to their knowledge about different countries and nationalities and profit much more from this multicultural environment.
