FRIDAYS FOR FUTURE & CLIMATE STRIKE 21st MARCH

On Friday 21st March kids around the world marched to demand action on climate change. At Institut Joan Brossa of Barcelona many students skipped class to join the protest but others decided that althought they couldn't miss any more classes, it has been a school year filled with strikes and protests, they still wanted to show their support.

We had a brainstorming about what climate change brings to their minds and the result is the following wordcloud:

We read an article about  the origins of the movement Fridays4Future Climate Strike and we also watched the video of Greta Thunberg's speech at UN Climate Change COP24 Conference that took place last year in Katowice: Greta Thunberg

The students got very engaged in the debate, it is really an issue that concerns them and they are all willing to deal with the central topic of our next magazine: sustainable development.
