At the end of the project students came together to open their MI Wax Museum!
The students were either lifeless statues lying on mats on the floor, or sitting in chairs holding something that had to do with the multiple intelligences. The students lying on the mats used their bodies to create the first letter of the intelligence they were representing. Students were allowed to bring items from their homes for the museum. Students brought cds and records (Musical Intellgience), a guitar (Musical Intelligence), a caterpillar with the alphabet on it (Linguistic Intelligence) Rubik cubes (Mathematical Intelligence) and much more. The students also created posters for the museum that can be seen below. Students displayed all the work they had for the project during the entire year and even found items from the school for the museum such as a globe (Spatial Intelligence). The museum was open to all teachers and students!
