In this page, there is a presentation of the steps that the students followed in order to identify and reproduce the patterns of a mosaic coming from Paphos, Cyprus. The patterns of this mosaic were the key to questions of the Treasure Hunts with all the students having to revisit and study it in order to be able to answer the questions.

We construct the geometric pattern using the follow underlying grid:

We draw horizontal and perpendicular purple lines coming through the intersection points of the purple lines.

Then we draw blue lines coming through the intersection points of the perpendicular purple lines with the horizontal bue lines and finally erase the circles.
