The city & the EU parliament

  • Our three days in Strasbourg were mainly spent doing activities for our project, but nevertheless, it left us some time to wander around the beautiful city centre of Strasbourg.

    On day 1, we went to the Parliament and the Parc de L'Orangerie. For the students, it was the most important day of the mobility and the main reason why we were in Strasbourg.

     

    The Plenary session that we attended offered us a perfect insight of how our MEPs work and how Laws are created, as we experienced the 

     

    Later on that day, we spent some time wandering around the Parc de l'Orangerie, where we admired the beautiful gardens and ponds and the stork colony that live in the park.

    The afternoon was spent in doing a selfie competition in international teams. The theme of the selfie was to introduce in the picture a cultural element of the city. It could be a monument, some food, an animal or a symbol. Here is an example of the wonderful selfies that our students took:

    On day 2, we had to work on the institutions of the city , so that allowed us to wander the streets and admire the beauty of the town.

    The last day was spent in the museum of modern and contemporary Art and writing articles for the Project.
