  • ITALY: “M.A.D. for Italy! Music Art Drama in artistic itineraries”

    Guest participants: 21 students and six teachers, who will work with students and teachers of our Institute. Participants will be between the ages of 13 and 14 years. The choice will take into account the points of gender equality and inclusion. With equal merit, there will be a tendency to encourage the mobility of pupils belonging to weaker social groups, because they have fewer opportunities to visit countries different from their own. All participants must have carried out the preparatory activities required by the host school. As a host school we ensure compliance with the safety standards and the creation of a serene and joyful atmosphere aimed at welcoming our guests putting them at ease from the beginning of the meeting.

    • This second mobility will use “clarification” as creativity technique;(Why? How? Story boarding? Performance)
    • and city-based and nature based- teaching activities;
    • the topic illustrated will be gender equity and we will suggest activities responding to sustainable criteria and promoting languages.
    • Italian School promotes experiences of Music, Art and Drama languages in its curriculum so the town/ school has chosen to order an event in those eras.

    TWINSPACE:

    The students will first have to understand "Why" this title working on some documents gathered in a Wakelet about Italian artists, forms of art, inventors and getting acquainted with the association who will work with them. Then they will have to imagine “how” they will be able to proceed to imagine their performances according to the offer; for this they will make a story board to the final performance (places to visit, workshops, things to prepare, instruments, costumes, digital tools...)

    MOBILITY:

    Arrival of the guests, accommodation in families and welcome dinner altogether

    First day:  Welcome show and presentation of delegates; Visit of the school and integration of the guest pupils within the classes; Guided tour of the town

    Second day: first rehearsal of music with the performance + Art Workshop (recycled and natural material provided by the host school, inspired by the land artist   Johannes Pfeiffer)

    -Visit of the Museum and Muses (Museum of fragrances and essences )

    Third day: - Music workshop; Drama and dance rehearsals -Art workshop: realization of mosaic in mixed groups of students

    Fourth day:  -Guided tour in Turin

    Fifth day: Tableaux vivants performance in different places of the town with dances

    Sixth day: Walking / bicycle ride and picnic visiting the historical villas in the countryside around the town.

    Farewell party and ceremony. Goodbye ceremony,  orchestra and choir performance, with the members of local associations and authorities . Delivery of certificates.

    Results for the students:

    -To develop creativity in all its forms, supporting historical knowledge - criticism of cultural heritage through the practice of a wide variety of artistic forms, involving and motivating even students of the weakest groups, enhancing the talents and expectations of each.

    To be witnesses and diffusers of the cultural and environmental patrimony of the own territory, allowing also the education to the citizenship.

    -To enhance the sense of beauty of art, promoting it through sustainable development, with recycled materials and Land Art

    - To help pupils born in Italy not to lose their roots and facilitate through the discovery, integration into the territory of pupils who come from different places and different cultures

    -To promote the synergy of artistic languages with the proactive use of digital technologies

    Cross curricular results

    -To develop key competences, in particular language and digital skills;

    -To remote mutual knowledge, cooperation in group work, communication in a foreign language

    - To encourage self-esteem and awareness of one’s own potential and talent playing different roles in the group

    to achieve a shared goal Taking part into learning activities will make them both ambassadors of their schools, regions and countries and conveyors in order to get the listed aims

    Results for the teachers and students:

    • experiment a second Creativity process prototype to be share as a methodology: "Clarification";
    • we will continue writing a guidelines to educational related work in towns and museums and how to create artistic content and will start working on the nature-based learning part;
    • museum and places of interests virtual tour videos;
    • digital tutorials;
    • our mobility magazine with our final artistic performance inside, students testimonies, interviews, articles to tell about the mobility and explaining our process;
    • we will continue our Art, creativity, city and nature-based learning glossary;
    • a newsletter dedicated to the new creativity technique, forms of arts, techniques digital tools, volition process developed in this mobility.
