Apple pie

  • Apple pie easy to make

    Ingredients:

    1 glass of flour

    ¾ glass of sugar

    1 glass of semolina

    2 teaspoons of baking powder

    1,5-2 kg of apples

    1 teaspoon of cinnamon

    150 g of  butter (well chilled)

    Directions:

    1. Mix flour, sugar, baking powder and semolina in a bowl.
    2. Peel the apples and grate them.
    3. Add cinnamon to the apples and stir gently.
    4. Moisture the bottom of the baking pan with some chilled butter.
    5. Put 1/3 of the dry ingredients in the pan.
    6. Put ½ of the grated apples in the pan.
    7. Put another layer of the dry ingredients on the first layer of the apples.
    8. Put the remaining apples on the top.
    9. Put the last layer of the dry ingredients on the apples.
    10. Grate evenly the rest of the chilled butter on the top.

    Baking:

    Bake in a pre-heated oven for 55-60 minutes at 180 degrees Celsius.

     

    Tastes best served  hot with a scoop of vanilla ice-cream.
