Apple pie easy to make
Ingredients:
1 glass of flour
¾ glass of sugar
1 glass of semolina
2 teaspoons of baking powder
1,5-2 kg of apples
1 teaspoon of cinnamon
150 g of butter (well chilled)
Directions:
- Mix flour, sugar, baking powder and semolina in a bowl.
- Peel the apples and grate them.
- Add cinnamon to the apples and stir gently.
- Moisture the bottom of the baking pan with some chilled butter.
- Put 1/3 of the dry ingredients in the pan.
- Put ½ of the grated apples in the pan.
- Put another layer of the dry ingredients on the first layer of the apples.
- Put the remaining apples on the top.
- Put the last layer of the dry ingredients on the apples.
- Grate evenly the rest of the chilled butter on the top.
Baking:
Bake in a pre-heated oven for 55-60 minutes at 180 degrees Celsius.
Tastes best served hot with a scoop of vanilla ice-cream.
