During our preparation for our trip to Andernach, we decided that we wanted to completely understand the steps someone has to follow in order to set up a business in our country and even make a presentation about it. This way it would also be easier for us to explain to the other participants/our partners how enterprises in Greece work. However that required a lot of work and participation from all the students. We collected tons of information regarding enterprises and spent a lot of time doing research in order to fathom the process of starting a business. Many students made small presentations that helped us a lot and others asked their families about help. One of the students’ father, in particular, even agreed on taking part in out project since he is an enterpreneur himself. So we thought of interviewing him, to get an even better and more realistic idea of enterprises. To do that, though, we organised weekly meetings, where we discussed and learnt a lot about the greek legislation, the different sources of funding and the obstacles a business man faces. Then we decided on the questions we wanted to ask our enterpreneur and invited him for the actual interview. We are very glad we had him by our side, because his answers were really helpful. Later on, we edited the video of the interview and added subtitles so everyone would be able to watch it without difficulty. Moreover we made an original presentation, using the online prezi software, in which we also included parts of the interview .
You can see our presentation here:
The whole video was later further edited and uploaded on youtube.
At the meeting held in Andrenach our partners found our presentation rather informative and congratulated us.. It turned out that when you work hard on something, it really pays off and leaves you with a feeling of pride and content.
