Do you know that the world generates
over 2 billion tonnes of waste every year?
At least a third of it is not managed in an environmentally safe way. A lot of this rubbish can be recycled instead of piling up in landfills and being a hazard for both present and future generations.
Your task:
The eCity Council would like to promote recycling among the eCity residents. They ask you to present how different types of waste can be reused.
People often come up with not typical ways of changing useless objects into new, handy stuff.
Take a look at examples of such actions:
1. Below there is a list of the most common kinds of litter.
- with your teammates decide on forum which group of waste you'd like to work on
- leave a comment with your team number under the chosen padlet post
Each rubbish can be picked only by one team.
2. Make up a story about the second life of a certain rubbish and create a comic strip about it.
