    BULGARY

Grade 2 and 3 students conducted a survey among their grandparents

About  the animals and plants they raise and use for food.

They also learned basic words in German - thanks to Mrs. Svetla Ivanova :).

They also arranged puzzles - they competed and learned.

Kostadin and Lily showed us how to plant potatoes and help in Grandma's garden.

And here are the questions in the survey.

    RESULTS OF OUR QUESTIONNAIRES:

Agriculture in the past - CZECH REPUBLIC.pdf

In this activity children were given a homework to complete a questionnaire with their grandparents (or even great grandparents), in which they asked and gathered information about agriculture in the past. Here you can see pictures of some of the completed questionnairs. We also asked grandparents to lend us some old pictures depicting their work in the agriculture (in the garden, on the field, with farm animals etc.).

At school, we will prepare a notice board for all children to see the results of this activity. A total of 35 children filled in the questionnaires and the younger children also drew beautiful pictures depicting agriculture with their eyes at present :)

... grandparents lent us a lot of photos, which show them working in fields, gardens, in the woods, with farm animals ... here is a poster of copied photos. We have to thank all grandaparents who participated :)

... younger children drew beautiful pictures depicting agriculture in the present, and of course, this time the pictures are all in colours :)

A notice board capturing old photos from grandparents (depicting their work in the field, woods, on the farm etc.), pictures of agricultural machinery taken in a nearby rural museum, completed questionnaires which theme was "Agriculture in the past" and pictures drawn by our youngest pupils depicting the agriculture in the present.
