At the beginning of April a sports demonstration was held in the yard of our school. Representatives of a rowing club were with us and presented a simulator to the students.

Many of them took part in the simulations, told about other sports they practice.

Here are some of their comments:

Mia 7v class: The demonstration we saw was very interesting and fun all of us. We were able to try out the machine they use for rowing. The instructors were very kind too.

I love sports and I think they are very important for us to leaded a healthy and active life. Personally, I wouldn’t try rowing. But I’m very invested in sports and I love fencing and badminton.

Dimitar, 7a class: I personally didn’t like the sport. And I wouldn’t train it either. It’s not my thing. The sport I complete in is Powerlifting. It is a great sport that uses weights.

Victor, 7v class: I really liked the sport, which was shown to us, but I would not practice it. Not because I can’t swim or row, but because I prefer other water sport.

Interview with Anna Maria and Judy:

Reporter: Hello girls! Can we take an interview?

Judi and Ana Maria: Of course!

Reporter: Did you like the lesson for rowing?

    Judi: Yes, I enjoyed it.

Reporter: Would you like to take up the sport?

Ana Maria: I will give it a try, but don’t have any time, because I’m training already.

    Reporter: What about you?

Judi: I don’t do any sport, but I would like to start.

Reporter: Why do you think sport is important for young kids?

Ana Maria: Sport can teach people how to work together in team.

Judi: Also, children need to stay fit and healthy.

Ana Maria: Sport is very important – while doing it you learn discipline and start living healthy. Now, a lot of people don’t practice any and start gaining weight.

Reporter: You are right girls! Thank you so much.

Ana Maria and Judi: You are welcome. Sport is fun!
