2. a wine press robot that presses wine, strawberries and many other things

Press machines

(hydraulic, mechanical or pneumatic) are used widely in the manufacturing industry to deform materials & give different structure to them and of course in everyday life applications like in ironing clothes, brakes in vehicles, stamping things etc.

Inspired by our visit in Samos in the Olive Oil Production Mill of Mr Kapsopoulos in Mavratzei where we experienced the process of making olive oil and having in mind that a press is also used for grapes and wine making, we decided to build a Lego Press machine using gears.

The following video in Youtube inspired us to start building a similar Lego press.
