    SPECIAL SONG OF OUR PROJECT

Within the Erasmus + project "Energy is power", joining the International Earth Day 2020, we have created a special song. We hope that it will positively contribute to promoting an ecological lifestyle and caring for our planet.

The song has been published on YouTube and our Facebook. The link to the song has been shared with our parents, students and teachers. We think it is a good promotion for our project and its activities.

'Earth Day at the Ministry of Climate' in Poland

On 22nd April we celebrated the World Earth Day, which aimed to highlight environmental issues, including promoting environmentally friendly attitudes. For students of our schools, it was a combined celebration on the occasion of "Water Day" and "Air Day".

The students of 7th grade of Polish school took part in an online workshops: "Earth Day in the Ministry of Climate". The organizers of the event are: the Ministry of Climate, the Bank for Environmental Protection and the BOŚ Foundation, with the support of the Ministry of National Education and the National Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management. The event was held under the honorary patronage of the President of Poland - Andrzej Duda.

On-line workshops were available live.  Through a special chat each student and teacher could ask questions to the Minister of Climate - Michał Kurtyka and participate in the lectures of invited experts: "Understanding global warming - mechanism and consequences" (dr Mariusz Gogól) and "RES. Where do we get electricity? " (dr Tomasz Rożek). The event ended with a film workshop with Szymon Chałupka (blog "Filmowania!"). The active participation of our students in the workshops and chat shows their commitment to environmental and climate protection issues. We hope that "Earth Day 2020" made us all reflect, and all students and their families will be involved in ecological activities.

    CLEAN-UP DAY 2020

As every year, we cleaned the nearest area and encouraged the local community to become more involved in environmental protection in our town. Everyone should be aware that protecting and shaping the environment in which we live is a must. Shaping the right attitude should start from an early age, because human consciousness is shaped throughout life. During lessons, we discussed issues related to environmental protection and waste segregation. In addition, we recorded short videos of our own work, encouraging reflection on pro-ecological issues.
