On October 8-15, 2020, the joint training of Polish and Spanish teachers took place in Tenerife. Polish teachers visited a Spanish school, got to know the Spanish educational system, exchanged experiences with Spanish partners, including tools used in distance learning. They tested online tools in Google classroom, Meet – for videoconference and survey and padlet. They also gave a radio interview in the form of a podcast. They participated in a joint training. The course in the field of modern ICT tools was conducted by lecturers from the Teaching Training Center (depended on the Ministry of Education of the Canary Islands government). Teachers were acquainted with trends in modern education, with examples of good practices from around the world, as well as with various ways of using ICT tools during science and English classes. They got to know the resources of the Internet - websites with interactive teaching aids for teachers with regard to Internet safety and copyright law, and learned how to prepare attractive educational materials for lessons. They developed materials using modern applications and tools that they will be able to use during their lessons - Book Creator, Slow Motion, Garage Band, Spreaker, Clips, Touch Cast, Corel. Thanks to the workshop form, they tested these applications on their own, while having access to experts who offered advice and support. Particular attention was paid to innovation and the creative use of information and communication technologies in science and English lessons. The result of the training are teaching aids and lesson scenarios. During the joint training, teachers worked in international Polish-Spanish groups, sharing their experiences and ideas about the project and tasks to be carried out as part of the training.
