The second online meeting

at 11.00 o clock Dutch time.

The second online meeting of the above-mentioned project has just taken place. The coordinator, Henk Frenken, suggested that the next activities to be carried out along January and February should be related to the general theme “Winter time”. Since in The Netherlands, Slovakia and Poland it snows regularly, the partners of these countries are going to share activities in the etwinning platform related to the particular conditions of snowy winter time. However, once in Portugal, Ireland and Turkey it hardly ever snows, the Irish colleague proposed that photos/activities related to the flora and fauna of these countries could be shared in that same platform.

We have said that we will gather photographs of our flora and fauna ( native animals and plants), our farming activities, our landscape in winter. Irish coordinator, Claire has propsed that her school will collect all our joint images and create a video of them all together. Deadline for sending the pictures is 15 February 2021. Pictures will be sent by email to Irish teacher Sandra Mierzwa, her email address is smierzwa@bccns.ie.

It was also decided that, under the theme “Different cultures”, videos made by the project students about traditional healthy dishes should be also uploaded in the etwinning platform. These activities are going to take place along January/February 2021. The coordinator Henk Frenken suggested yet another activity: once Carnival is celebrated in some partner countries, photos should also be uploaded. Slovak coordinator Alžbeta will prepare the pages in Twinspace for both suggested activities.

In the end of the meeting, all of us wished a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to one another.

All coordinators were present except the Polish one, who had lessons at the time. She will be informed via email and via Whatapp group messages.
