4th day of training - 02/05/2019

  • Gamification - We started the day by visiting a primary school that implements STEAM methodologies, promoting learning through the articulation of the arts, sciences, engineering, technology and math. It was a pleasant surprise to see how comfortable sophomore programming was using Scratch Jr, with a group room layout that is different from what we are used to. We also visited arts, cooking, chemistry lab and technology education classes. There is a huge investment in material such as tablets, 3D printers, etc. There is a serious commitment to practical work and recognition of the student's main role in the teaching and learning process. “Tell me and I will forget; teach me, and I will remember; involve me and I will learn ”- maxim implemented in every room we could visit.

    Already in the training center we walk around the virtual reality web tools, 3D and 4D. We “travel” the seabed and space, explore the anatomy of the human body, know the structure of the cell. We used the smartphone to install some applications, which we tried during a visit to Trakai castle. These have been intense and very rewarding days.
