In the morning we carried out in groups of four (from different nationalities) work on formative assessment (with its tasks, objectives and evaluation criteria) and then presented the work to the group. Many different ideas that can be used in our classes in Portugal. In the afternoon we visited a local school ... very different from the Portuguese reality. But there are ideas we can bring to our school! There are just some peculiarities of this Icelandic school, aspects that are common to all Icelandic schools, but differ from our reality:
- all people should walk barefoot through the school (footwear is at the school entrance);
- all students are required to have a computer and most work is done on the computer;
t- he school has no staff (who cleans dirty, but if nobody gets dirty nobody needs cleaning ...);
- the student lounge features a snoocker table, ping pong table, computer games and even poker.
