On the first day, after registration with ICI and an exchange of views between the trainees, various activities were held, addressing the following topics:

- the importance of the group group environment;
- what we evaluate, where we evaluate, how we evaluate and why we evaluate;
- how to use the cooperative working method;
- the key competences of the 21st century.

During this first day of formation several activities were promoted:

- approach to how assessment is addressed in each country;
- promotion of the Jigsaw Puzzle Method, on the advantages of cooperative work;
- demonstration of a real cooperative work situation and its group discussion;

All the activities were dynamized in a multicultural logic, having been interaction between teachers of different nationalities, in order to know the different experiences of each one and the education systems in force in the different countries.
