Refugees & entrepreneurship

  • Fabienne Colling talked about an organisation called touchpoints.lu which helps those among refugees who would like to set up their own businesses.

Bordered by Belgium, France, and Germany, Luxembourg is a desirable country for foreigners, including refugees from different countries. However, refugees coming to the country face difficulties while finding a job due to specific local immigration policies.

Touchpoints.lu helps the refugees through the debris of local law, banking, taxes, and social specifics. They also facilitate a smoother path through various other obstacles.

Around 70% of the refugees do manage to start their companies despite all the challenges. Moreover, there are some success stories among them, too.
