In December we organized an online mobility to Poland. It lasted for 6 days starting on December, 14th with Saturday devoted to evaluation. All the coordinators with students took part in it, but due to pandemic restrictions the groups consisted of maximum 6 pupils - some of the project groups logged from their homes, some joined us from schools.
As pandemic forced us to change our previous plans, we had to modify the activities and find online tools that would be both intuitive (easy enough to navigate) and available for the individual participants as students from Lithuania and Romania worked at their homes, while the others could join our online mobility from schools, working in rigorous sanitary regime.
One week long virtual meeting ended up with gaining new knowledge, experiences and skills comprising digital, linguistic, social, and those concerning cultural awareness to all the participants, including Polish organizers and students.
LET'S MEET IN POLAND - 14TH- 19TH DECEMBER
On the first day of online mobility we presented our city of Częstochowa as students of grade 8 made short films of the most characteristic and important sites of Częstochowa and afterwards they told the participants about their favourite places for leisure activities, what is special about our town and why they liked living here.

Later on we showed another presentation concerning our school captured by group us of students from classes 7b and 7c.
During two days long international workshops thr participants were creating a cultural map of Europe with the use of Padlet application..

The possibilites offered by Canva application and the ways of creating new educational materials and teaching aids were decribed and displayed to all the participating teachers by Mrs Marta Lipska – a teacher consultant from Regional Centre of Teachers’ Development ‘WOM’ in Częstochowa. Practical and professional consultations were carried out in English.
All the students from partners’ schools were eager to present their outcomes in English communicating via Meet application in Google.

On the third day of the online mobility the students took part in Arts workhops and in groups of maximum 6 students they’ve created untypical Chrismas cards with geometrical shaped decorations and wishes in English and native languages.
Thursday and Friday were devoted to discussion on Christmas. Presentations of typical dishes and traditions were preceded by short performances of 8 years old students – the girls staged two carrols with the accompaniment of ukulele and they put on a Snowflake dance.

The project partners with their students were presented a short fragment of our annual school Christmas play called ‘Jasełka’, which is always based on a widely-known tale, enriched with nativity scenes. The performance chosen for displaying during the mobility was The Snow Queen. It’s been over 20 years with the tradition of giving the Nativity Concerts in our school and every time they gather more and more spectators.
The show was then followed by presentations prepared by all the partners’ teams concerning Christmas dishes and local traditions maintained in our countries. As a form of summing up, we played a Kahoot game prepared on the basis of information presented during online work.

On Friday our Polish project group with Mrs Justyna Czyż took the rein. This teacher is the coordinator of our new Erasmus+ project Variety is the Spice of Life – inclusive education in action 2020-2022.
The team presented typical recipes connected with traditional Christmas in Poland. The twelve dishes always present at Polish tables on Christmas Eve supper, served as an inspiration for creating a common international cook book. Each coutry was supposed to develop two Christmas recipes and present them to the rest of the partipants. The final product of the meeting was an international cook book devised in genially application.

Being the authors of innovative activities with its results, it can be stated, that even under difficult circumstances we are able to meet our objectives. All that was accomplished through international cooperation and the exchange of valuable experience.
