Our school " Istituto Comprensivo Galileo  Galilei" is in the area of San Giovanni Teatino/Sambuceto, in the province of Chieti. It is a big school including three infant schools,three primary schools and one middle one. There are over 1700 students all together: 426 pupils in the infant schools,823 pupils in the primary and 412 students in the middle one. 

Teachers working at our schools include:40 teachers in the infant schools, 83 teachers in the primary ones and 48 in the middle school.Among these teachers there are 40 who are highly specialized and support the students with special needs but also provide special help to our foreign students from different countries such as: Albania,Brazil,China,Romania and Senegal.

The European project "Finding European Identity through Education and Intercultural Dialogue between European citizens",is an enormous opportunity for our teachers and students as they will accomplish some of the Erasmus+Programme objectives that will be carried out in the two year collaboration among the six partner countries. We will give priority to the following features while working together:

 The headline education target,European cooperation in education and training,Promotion of the European Values in accordance with Article 2 of the Treaty on the European Union.
