Our second museum visit was in February 2019 in the Dohány street Synagogue, which is the second largest synagogue of the world.

Before going to the synagogue and the Jewish Museum students had to find information about the jewish community in Budapest and their traditions connected to birth and death, marriage, special occasiones like Chanukkah, etc.

In the synagogue and the museum we had a brilliant guide, who told us a lot of interesting and sometimes sad stories.

After this visit we had to work in small groups again, and our task was to compare life of a christian and a jewish family.
