2nd „LORESU“ mobility: Koprivnica,

Mobility title: „Reveal the value of old traditions and new friendships“ J
DAY OF ARRIVAL: Arrival at Koprivnica. Meeting with teachers and students from Gimnazija „Fran Galović“ Koprivnica. Accommodation of teachers in hotel „Zlatan“ and students at Croatian students' houses. Free time to rest and enjoy.
20:00 Theacher`s meeting.
Breakfast at hotel/ houses of hosts.
9:30 Welcome reception at Gimnazija „Fran Galović“ Koprivnica.
10:00-13:00 Presentation and getting to know participants through three objects (one food product and two products typical of their region) which every team will bring from their country. Multicultural snack.
12:30-13:30 LORESU teachers' meeting
14:00- 15:30 Visit to Podravka, the biggest food company in Croatia.
16:00- 18:00 Sightseeing tour of Koprivnica with an expert guide and using old and modern maps of Koprivnica, visiting local crafts.
19:00 Dinner for all participants in hotel „Zlatan“. Exchanging presents.
Breakfast at hotel/ houses of hosts.
10-12:30 Gimnazija „Fran Galović“; multinational pub quiz (6 groups of students - one student from each country will join each group), tour around the school in guided international groups (you can attend and participate in various activities prepared by students and teachers of different subjects for Open School Day).
13:00 Bike tour to Podravka recreation center (6 kilometres from the center of Koprivnica); sports activities.
14:00 Lunch at Podravka recreation center
18:30 Arrival in Koprivnica, sightseeing, learning about local crafts in Koprivnica center.

9:00 Departure from Koprivnica to Đurđevac
9:45-11:00 Đurđevac - the European destination of excellence for 2008. Sightseeing in the Old town of Đurđevac, learning about the Picoki legend, visiting of exhibition of Salvador Dali, visiting an unusual animal habitat in the open with camels as the main attraction.
11:30- 12:30 Walking tour round the biological, geological and geographical reserve „Đurđevački pijesci - Croatian Sahara“ and filming a video. Observation of specific plants and animals and photodocumentation of the observed species.
13:00-18:00 Boat tour on Drava river and sightseeing of ethno-house Karlovčan; lunch
Dinner at hotel „Zlatan“/ houses of hosts .
*Rock concert in the center of Koprivnica (by famous Croatian rock band „Prljavo kazalište“ - if you wish).
Breakfast at hotel/ houses of hosts .
9:00 Departure from Koprivnica to Hlebine.
9:30- 11:30 Hlebine - getting to know a world famous naïve art in Naïve Art Gallery. „I am a naïve artist too“ workshop with a naïve art painter.
11:30 Departure from Hlebine to Zagreb.
13:30-17:30 Zagreb - free time for lunch according to your needs, guided sighteseeing, orientation using a Zagreb map
17:30 Departure from Zagreb to Rasinja
19:00 Dinner at ethno-house „Gudan“ in Rasinja village; participants will be given Certificates of attendance
Breakfast at hotel/ houses of hosts.
9:30 Departure from Koprivnica to Plitvice lakes (*a long journey, about 3,5 hours).
13:00- 18:00 Plitvice lakes - the oldest National Park in Croatia and a UNESCO heritage site – tasks for students to explore the historical development and geographical aspects (travertine barriers). After arrival at Plitvice lakes, all participants will get a packed lunch.
18:00 Departure from Plitvice lakes to Koprivnica.
21:30 Arrival in Koprivnica
