1st DAY: Welcome reception and breakfast at the high school canteen. The students and teachers started meeting each other while they tasted some of the typical products of Fuerteventura. At the library, students  worked in groups of 5 (one member from each country). They talked about some personal information (age, family, likes and dislikes, things they do in their free time, etc) trying to find things they all had in common.  After, they talked about their counties /regions (weather, food, what to do /visit in their places, etc).  A Canarian sports exhibition and Canarian sports’ workshop was organised but we had to cancel due to the weather conditions but onitors from the Fuerteventura Council gave a lectures and we watched a video about the traditional Canarian sports . In the evening, at the RAÍZ DEL PUEBLO theatre a welcome ceremony took place where we watched videos from the countries of our partners and the local authorities welcomed our visitors. Students sang and danced and also we showed some typical dances from Fuerteventura.
