Activities so far by Italian school and educational goals

  • OUR ACTIVITIES:

    OUR EDUCATIONAL GOALS

This particular activity is expected to have a beneficial effect in the whole process, given that inclusion of immigrant and special needs learners constitutes a major project objective and prerequisite knowledge for the contemporary educator's professional development. All participants are expected to familiarize themselves with the necessary procedures to be followed and the theoretical background to be taken into consideration while planning and delivering a lesson based on a differentiated teaching approach, whether within or outside the school, given that this project includes outdoor activities as well. By the end of this training seminar and workshop, teachers will be able to design and deliver lessons based on their pupils' learning styles, promote a collaborative teaching approach and group learners by shared interest, topic, or ability for assignments, assess the learners' learning using formative assessment, achieve better classroom management, and assess and adjust lesson content to meet students’ needs. Our main aim, once again, with this training seminar and workshop is to make each participant teacher a qualified multiplier in his/her school, with an eye to training the teachers in their schools in planning and delivering differentiated teaching for immigrants and learners with special needs and learning difficulties. The team of Latvian teachers responsible for this training is going to  rovide constant online support to the participants regarding specific contexts and challenges faced in specific teaching contexts and ensure application and effective implementation of the desired approach in all indoor and outdoor teaching and learning activities.
