1st meeting in GREECE: School presentation and local environment.

  • The kick off meeting will take place in the coordinator school in Greece, in November, 2018. Teachers from each partner school will join this meeting.
The legal representative, the contact person and a teacher involved in the project team of each partner school will be preferred as participants. Here,
the participants of the partner schools will have the chance to meet face to face for the first time. At this transnational meeting, all participants will
have to present their schools and education systems. Therefore, for this Greek meeting, each teacher will arrive with photographs of their local
environment. We suggest as a process, that we could find out with our pupils, how to scenography different parts of our local environment. Examples:
change of scales (https://www.travelblog.org/Photos/1832023; http://monsieurromero.blogspot.fr/2013/02/jeu-dechelle-4eme.html ), several photographs to reveal decomposition of movement, as Edward Muybridge, or another scenography. Apart from the introductory procedure, the coordinator school will inform the partners about the main aims and activities of the project. There will be a study among the partner schools on the Greek National Agency's evaluation of the project in order to become familiar with the strong and weak points of the project. We will also discuss and try to take precautions to reinforce the weak sides. Aside from the general aspects of our project, staff training is going to focus on familiarization with these WEB 2.0 tools that will be most appropriate for our project, easy-to-learn, useful and effective. We intend to focus on tools that are going to allow our learners to work cooperatively, such as Padlet, GoogleDocs, TitanPad, AnswerGarden, SlideShare, Prezi, Animoto, etc. The Greek ICT teacher with the English teacher are going to host seminars and workshops in the school computer lab, in order to present the theoretical background and allow time for practice in the tools suggested. Guest teachers will also have the opportunity to be trained in how to create a school blog and a school website. Training will take place in the school computer lab and will be part of the ICT lesson taught to our learners. WEB 2.0 tools constitute part of our national curriculum, therefore training is going to take place by means of a cooperative approach, with guest teachers and Greek learners working in groups, using English as the language of communication.
