During numeracy week we organised a lot of maths games for our students, which took place not only at maths lessons but also at IT, art, PE and chess lessons. Children did tangram puzzles, played memory games, board games, dominoes, did some numeracy puzzles, crosswords, cryptarithms. These activities were the opportunity to practice mathematical thinking, logical thinking, drawing conclusions and actively involved students into the learning process. The willing to win was an internal drive to be active and emotionally involved, obey the rules in a group, work together in order to achieve common goals and solve problems. The main product of our Numeracy Week is a game, created by our 5 grade students with a teacher. The game can be used by students in a classroom.
