Day #3 - 13th March 2019
Pupils experienced a CLIL Science Lesson visiting the exhibit "Human Body- Science of Life". The exhibit is set up to showcase the muscular, nervous, circulatory, digestive, respiratory, urinary, and reproductive systems, and displays over 100 organs, bone structures and eight real human bodies that have been preserved permanently by a process called "plastination", so as to not decay.
CLIL Portugal's History Lesson @ World of Discoveries. Erasmus pupils discovered the fantastic odyssey of Portuguese sailors, crossing oceans to discover an unknown world

Visit to Soalhães Parish
The Hands On CLIL team was received by the Soalhães Parish President that welcomed in a very warmly manner our partners from Turkey, Slovakia and Spain. Later, the team visited the Duriense factory, the Saint Martin's church and the Roman City of Tongobriga.

Storytelling Workshop - "My name is not Refugee"
Storytelling is a powerful tool at CLIL disposal. During this workshop Vanessa Reis Esteves goes through the intercultural story "My name is not Refugee" exploring the feelings and possible situations people face when forced to leave their homes to run away from war... an intercultural approach to promote the intercultural dialogue and attitudes of empathy and what is it like "to be in the Other shoes"

Integrated in the Blended Mobility of School Learners of Hands On CLIL (March 2019), the pedagogical team will attend a webinar on the benefits of webquests in CLIL and will learn how to create engaging webquests so their CLIL activities are inquiry-oriented in which some or all of the information that learners interact with comes from resources on the internet.
By the end of the workshop, participants will present their final outcomes during their Blended Mobility in Portugal, March 2019, will post and share the products in the project's Website and eTwinning TwinSpace and use them with their students.

Using eTwinning Live pupils from Portugal, Slovakia and Turkey engaged in a preparatory chat before travelling to Marco de Canaveses for the Blended Activity of School Learners. Communicative Competence enhanced in a real and meaningful setting!
