Chat 17.05.2017.

  • [16:05] hi everyone
    [16:05] welcome friends
    * GRgeorgia abatzoglou has left the chat
[16:05] Hello Tea and Ivana!!! Best wishes from Sigulda!
    [16:05] hey guys ;)
[16:05] Hi everybody! So let´s start with our topic. What do you think about the Czech film? How would you compare to your school etc.?
    * GRgeorgia abatzoglou joins the chat
[16:06] Both the Czech and the Latvian films were great. We watched them again and again
    * Janis Muzis joins the chat
[16:07] well comparing to our school, I'd say we'd have less students that go on activities such as graffiti
    * GRgeorgia abatzoglou has left the chat
[16:07] Hi Inara! I´m happy to hear you!
    [16:07] hi ;(
[16:07] I, for one, enjoyed the grafitti and the portrayal of Czech street life
    * GRgeorgia abatzoglou joins the chat
    [16:07] Georgia hello
    [16:08] rush b
    [16:08] :D
    [16:08] someone gets it? :D
    [16:08]  y we do
    [16:08] its just some banter
    [16:08] yeah :D
    [16:08] awesome
[16:08] this chat instantly got better
    [16:08] because of memes

    [16:09]  should i send some ?
[16:09] Czeck film was bit shocking!
    [16:09] I'll survive without.
[16:09] i guess back to buisness
    * GRgeorgia abatzoglou has left the chat
[16:10] Keep the topic a little bit please! But at the same time I like that you and my students understand each other!
    * GRgeorgia abatzoglou joins the chat
    [16:10] alright, excuse us
    * GRgeorgia abatzoglou has left the chat
[16:10] What was shocking for ya ?
    * GRgeorgia abatzoglou joins the chat
[16:11] Here also there are people who draw graffiti. Not so many pupils of our school make graffiti this way. they usually ask to paint walls in our school.
[16:11] what was soo shocking about czech film??
[16:12] the high towers they climbed to make their paterns
    [16:12] that's normal business.
[16:12] Or playing hind and seek with the police
[16:12] There always will be someone who understands everything in and so film might be misleading in some ways for someone
[16:12] Probably some of the scenes

    [16:13] agree
[16:13] We liked that. The students played with fire
    [16:13] risking to be arrested
[16:13] Playing with fire, while kind of dangerous, does make life more fun
    [16:13]  in my opinion atleast
    [16:13] must agree !
    * CR - Ondrej Bina has left the chat
[16:13] Well i personaly didnt find it that shocking, compared to what i have seen

    * CR - Ondrej Bina joins the chat
[16:14] Why taking risk is so important for young people?

    [16:14] Because fun

    [16:14] It's fun. I guess.
[16:14] i would say its more about being freed and doing what you want, that makes it fun and exciting instead of restricting yourself to rules and safety
[16:14] It was of course a bit  exaggerated, destorted, but there was the point. Students have a lot of their personal, family problems and so on.
[16:15] There is anger, deadends in teenagers and even to older people. This is a way to protest for not being able to choose for their life.
[16:15] Well, we dont like stereotype
[16:15] Probably life itself IS shocking on some points
[16:15] well we dont know much about life so we try to do everything we can :)
    [16:15] And bcause of adrenaline
    [16:15] ist fun and exciting...
[16:16] Have you ever risked with something?

[16:16] Well teenagers don't fill the danger or don't think of the consequences
    [16:16] who hasn't really?
    [16:16] that's a good question
[16:16] Yesterday, going down a half-pipe at the skatepark

[16:16] we have to find our own personality +  living a stereotype life is   kind of boring,
[16:17] Wasn't that bad in the end
[16:17] When you think about it everyone has risked something, some more some less
    [16:17] agree
[16:17] like the end of 9th class ;)
[16:18] That´s true. Young people think that always there will be a kind of help, social, medical... But it might be different in the future.
    [16:18] everybody somesimes risked
[16:18] Is it always worth doing?
    [16:18] YEAH
    * GRgeorgia abatzoglou has left the chat
    [16:18] Why not
    [16:18]  u get expirience atleast
[16:19]  that you can use in a future
[16:19] Some are more risky than others. It needs guts to do such things. I wouldn't try it, i think. Well of course i am not in my teens but generally i wouldn't dare break the law this way although i am not usually afraid of expressing myself in a free way
[16:19] well, if the stakes are too high, for example death, I'd never take a risk, otherwise it's just good fun :)
[16:19] me personaly its about just doing it and being free to do what i want.

[16:19] well yeah, but if you done something bad you should learn from it and dont do same mistakes again
[16:19] Well then maybe you shouldn't go outside

[16:19] What if the air is poisoned
[16:19]  i have to agree with u Janis
    [16:20] #chemtrails ?
[16:20] whats your opinion on it?

[16:20] My freedom should end where the others´ freedom begins.
    [16:21] chemtrail's a lie
    [16:21] That`s life Ivana

    * GRgeorgia abatzoglou joins the chat
[16:22] How can we define freedom?
    * Daniels Podajurovs has left the chat
[16:22] more rules - less freedom, less rules, less order - more freedonm
[16:23] Doing what you want without any restrictions
    * Daniels Podajurovs joins the chat
    [16:23] freedom*
[16:23] Let´so go back to the other films. What is your greatest wish of your lives?
[16:23] Well the chat seems to be a nice way of cooperation.
    [16:23] To get a driver's licence
[16:23] Maybe someones wish could be freedom?
    [16:23] We sympathized with Modris.
[16:24] We would like to be there for him to stand by him more.
[16:24]  in my opinion freedom is created in our minds
[16:24] I agree, in the end he just wanted 2 Lats right?
[16:24] in my opnion freedom for me it's doing what i like and what i enjoy ;)
[16:24] Yes, isn´t it beautiful, that we can chat in this way?
[16:25] Has anyone understood if his father knew that he had a son?
    [16:25] it is pretty nice
    [16:25] I dont know
[16:25] but there's need to be some rules
[16:25] Why his mother didn't tell the truth about his father?
[16:25] I think Modris' father knew, but just didn't want to take care of him
[16:25] Oh it is a same
[16:25] Rostival what do you mean about freedom is created in our minds?

    [16:26] Shame
[16:26] in my opinion freedom is created in our minds. if our parents taught us that fire is dangerous, we wont use fire  in the future, but why ? because someone told us  to not use that fire
[16:26] I think the last episode of MODRIS is only illusion of nice life in future
    * GRgeorgia abatzoglou has left the chat
[16:26] But freedom stops where other peoples' rights start
[16:27] And we have to have it in mind otherwise it is not freedom it's chaos and anarchy
[16:27] You are simply brought up by someone. Advised, helped, taught. Even animals do it. There is a period in our lives when we are looked after.
[16:28] If I burnt my hand in a fire I would know not to touch it again, not because somebody told me not to
[16:28] I do what I want, you do what you want, he does......... So each of us issingigng different song. but life- it means communication
[16:28] you should be clever and think about things in your way and create your opinions so if somebody tell you: Don't use this you should think why he tells you and don't say just ok and dont think about it
[16:29] It ends in a wat that lets you decide what next episode will be. Nice future with his parents or again deserted
[16:29] I think that Modris´ mother didn´t tell him about his father because she was too proud. Maybe too hurt as well.
[16:30] Nah, it was just a typical Latvian family with unhappy parents

[16:30] too proud or too ashamed?
    [16:30] Both, Janis

[16:30] Do you think that parents have no right to make their children do always what they want? Instead of talking to them and letting them choose what they think is best for them?
    [16:30] Both.
[16:30] i would be ashamed if i had a drunk dad who does what he wants and not care about me
[16:31] Janis this often happens and those kids are unlucky
[16:32] it was only example...   I can use a example from real life  : Famous czech person known as kazma  was force to study at university even that he know that this wont fullfill him in the future. That why he stop studium and start recording videos on czech youtube. Maybe some of u know his video about  Fake Jimm Carey  at special Festival  in Karlovy Vary
[16:32] Parents should talk to there children and tell them to have there own opinion ;)
[16:32] So acording to our definition fathers does what he wants, he enjoys his freedom of choice?
[16:32] i think its more about what you think is right and how do you want to raise him. If your too forcefull then your child will be more rebelious. If you dont pay enough attention then he could create more chaos to attract your attention. it could be alot of things, but i dont know. havent raised a child of my own =D
[16:32] His parents told him not to risk, but he  just followed his heart and now he is living  like a milionare
[16:32] I insist that young people lose contact with parents when parents aren't easy people to talk to. They should have pacience and an ear to hear what their kids have to say.
    * Daniels Podajurovs has left the chat
    * Daniels Podajurovs joins the chat
[16:33] can't disagree, too often I feel like parents don't listen in on what their kids have got to sayA
[16:34] yes, lack of attention may cause a alot of problems
[16:34] All you need is love!!!
    * Daniels Podajurovs has left the chat
    * Daniels Podajurovs joins the chat
[16:35] too much attention also could be a problem. Just need to find that correct balance
[16:35] If your parents stop caring about you, it just means that it's time to start caring about yourself, yourself
    [16:35] Definitely.
[16:36] it means I am responsible of my life- me myself

[16:36] I think we have to repeat the chat after the 2nd if June if possible. Then the Greek students will be also free. I think it's fantastic. So much interaction in so little time. That is incredible.
    [16:36] Inara : definitly
[16:37] Another topic was if you (young generation) is afraid of love, future family life, responsibilities and so on. So what?
[16:37] Modris couldn't care about himself because all he knew in life was spending 2 Lats every day in slot machines
[16:37] Thats what happens when people just chat, about something the care about.
[16:37] But it wasnt his decision only
    [16:37] xD
[16:38] We  - the young people are getting  affected by parents opinion and opinion of our friends
[16:38] Only if you care about your parents' influence on you
[16:38] Modris, we must admit , was a little bit "crook" if this is the right word. I mean he always wanted to cheat telling lies in order to do what he wanted. He wasn't a "straight " character/
[16:39] Yes, it would be possible to repeat it.
[16:39] these chats are pretty cool, I wouldn't mind to repeat
[16:39] My mom and i work together and that make us more trustfull and i help her with her job and she realised that i have a lot of creativity
    [16:39] true that
[16:39] That`s the way he could survive
[16:39] Why do you think that childrens of rich people are Charismatic and creative ? because They were taught that by parents
[16:39] But the circumstances made him behave like this/ if he was rich he needn't do all this
[16:40] Rich kids mostly end up spoiled
    [16:40] from my experience
[16:40] but thats mostly because of bad parenting
    [16:40] Yeah
[16:40] Because from day 1 they were free to make their own choices and live their lives, without worrying about day-to-day survival
    [16:40] Yes bad parenting
[16:40]  parents dont taught them how to manage
    [16:40]  the lifestyle
[16:42] Or they think they can buy everything with money, even love, but it's an illusion. Many of them end up alone because of the difficult characters they develop
[16:42] well the kids from rich families most of the time have too bic ego and that makes theme popular or not so popular because nobody wants to talk with someone who just say im best :p
[16:42] but in my opinion its not all about parenting, it could be about genes as well. ive seen that the same parenting methods dont do the same thing and usually lead to a diffrent out come just because of how the person is, instead of theyr parents influencing them
    [16:42] I agree with Jakub
[16:42] There is a big difference between rich kid, that gets everything that wants from parents and rich kids that was taught some important  life lessons from parrents
[16:43] Maybe the words rich and poor could be replaced by active, brave and passive, fearful.
    * Daniels Podajurovs has left the chat
    * Daniels Podajurovs joins the chat
[16:44] Parents of rich famelys have it hardre i think because they have to make theyr kids relate to people who have less then them and probably have it harder then them.
[16:44] A midiate situation is always the best. Not much money nor very little. In both sitution there is loss of measure.
[16:44] i agree with ivana. Others who have it worse can work more and be more active to achieve results more then otheres
[16:44] I agreee that its not about parenting because kids should think in their own way
[16:45] Money is not good or ba itself. Everything depends on what does it mean to person, OR how is ti spent

[16:45] We, older people, have done a great mistake, speaking generally. we have tried to take away all thorns from our kid's way.
[16:45] but if the people who have it worse were taught that this is live and it cant get better, the they dont have  any idea that they can change their lives
[16:46] And this is not good at all. Our kids lose their own experience which will help them grow up and learn about llife
[16:46] Wait what are we talking about again
    [16:47] hahaha
    [16:47] :D
[16:47] so many topics people lose themselves in them :p
[16:48] Now a different topic. Sorry the Greeks. Who will win the hockey World Championship?
[16:48] Well, what where your impressions about Greek film?
[16:48] I think we should talk about the Greek film during another chat. So as more puplis to take part. You , pupils were excellent.
    [16:48] why thank you
    [16:48] Not Latvia
    [16:48] I mean it. Gorgeus
[16:48] who wins hockey championship? either Russia or 'Murica
    [16:49] sweeden ;)
