    The outlaws

    In the mythology of the Wild West outlaws are killers and burglars. A cowboy is normally arrive and duel the criminal. Jesse James came from a wealthy family, was a fighter during the Civil War.

    After the war, Jesse and his brother joined up the James Younger gang. James has been characterized at the Robin Hood , but historians have dismissed this because his gang keep all of their money for themselves. However, James was betrayed and killed in 1882 by a new recruit to his gang. James was certainly an outlaw and a notorious.
    Now, perhaps one of most notorious names in the Old West is that of Billy the Kid who was orphaned at the age of 15.

    After killing his first victim in self defense, Billy caught up in an economic turf war that turned shooty in 1878 where his employed was murdered.

    Billy survived and wanted to be clean in exchange for pardon, but the judge refused. Billy’s posse was captured ant Billy was sentenced to hanging but he broke out.Billy was killed in 1881. He was one prolific killer and escape artist.


    Robert Leroy Parker in 1886 was the last great outlaw in the west, he had started as a cowboy, his first crime was a break-in.

    In the late 19th century, being an outlaw was a tough business. On the other hand Butch Cassidy was a known outlaw because he was very intelligent. Cassidy went to jail for 2 years. He takes only 2 years. He saved a lawyer in a bar fight. After that, he wants to become the greatest outlaw in the West. in 1890‘s, the crew thought the name of Wild Bunch seemed cool.

    The outlaws part 3

    Cassidy picked up a sidekick named “The Sundance Kid”. . . . Between 1896 and 1899, the Wild Bunch robbed many trains and banks.


    in 1900 and 1901, the gang succeeded other crimes in 2 other state. The gang conquered free territories and they enforced their law. in 1901 the gang disbanded.

    Etta Place disappeared mysteriously. Cassidy and Sundance Kid probably died in 1908. They died in a gunfight.
