Anticipatory Phase

  • The teacher introduces the lesson by letting pupils listen to a song to familiarize themselves with the names of food and drinks.

    The next step is to watch a video: pupils are invited to listen and repeat the vocabulary.

    The teacher gives to each child a sheet with different images of foods that have to be associated with their names, then she asks pupils which food they like and don’t like, which one is their favorite and which one they eat on special occasions.
