Units that were implemented and piloted: Digital Marketing Strategies(1) and Email Marketing (5)
Participants: 3 Teachers (Computer Science, Economics, English Literature) and 26 A class students (16 boys, 10 girls, aged 15-16, randomly selected)
Existing Curriculum in which pilot phase was embedded: Lesson: Computer Science Applications, Teaching hours per week: 2, subject: Mobile devices Programming (App Inventor platform), Web Applications and Services, Introduction to HTML)
Teaching method: blended (partially face-to-face and through distance, depending on COVID limitation rules)
Period: 5th of February to 26th of March (Unit 1 - 8 hours) and 23th of April to 4th of June (Unit 5 - 6 hours)
Activities based on DIMAS Curriculum:
- Compare traditional and digital marketing
- Research on how demographic factors affect the customer’s interest in digital communications
- Feel (like) your customer (Identify the factors that influence the customer’s digital experience and e-Engagement
- Build your own Email list
- Write Effective Emails
- Compare and test emails effectiveness
