Special Days (Paired Schools)

  • We are going to celebrate the days in the table below.

    Each school is paired with another.Two schools are going to decide the activity together and produce an output collaboratively. Those products are going to be displayed on the following twinboard.

    We aim to develop social skills, communication and cooperation as well as to raise students' awareness about these days. In addition, this activity is going to develop students' creativity & productivity and usage of web tools, too.

    Today we met in chatroom with the students of Konya Abdulhamid Han Secondary School and my dear colleague Tuğba Kırbaş. The participation was great and it was an exciting meeting. We had a chat about how to celebrate Mevlana Week. We asked our students about their ideas and the majority wanted to make a video as a collaborative activity. So, as a result of our students' choice, we will get started to make a video soon ;)

    My team and I had a very useful meeting in chatroom with Ali Kuşçu İmam Hatip Secondary School's hardworking students and precious teacher Zehra. We decided what to do as for Mevlana week activities. We came to a common conclusion and decided to work on 7 advices of Mevlana. İt was real collaboration.     Mevlana Week has begun to fill our hearts with love and joy. We are ready to listen to the sounds of reed flute playing and experience emotional moments watching Sama in Seb-i Arus ceremonies organized each year on December 17 in Konya. We are entering an exciting week dedicated to Mevlana, the legacy of this geography to all the people of the World...

    In order to commemorade this special philosopher and thoughtsman, Ali Kuşçu İmam Hatip Secondary School's hardworking students and their teacher Zehra and Abdülhamid Han Secondary School's goodhearted students and me prepared a video about 7 advice of Mevlana ❤️

    We prepared this video with my dear colleague Tuğba Kırbaş and her lovely students from Abdulhamid Han Secondary School, Konya. It was a great collaboration and our students enjoyed role-playing in such a meaningful video.

    Human Rigts Day (Latvia + Tunisia)

    Students from Latvia and Tunisia have examined 30 human rights in the Universal Declaration and collaboratevly made a poster to show these human rights in pictures.

    Sema is part of the inspiration of Mevlana Celaleddin-i Rumi as well as of Turkish custom, history, beliefs and culture. It is what Mevlana do as a form of remembrance of God. This week is Mevlana week and we learn his teachings.

    My students are using BeFunky graphic designer to produce a collaborative poster inspired by the 30 articles of the Universal Declaration Of Human Rights.

    Tunisian and Latvian students have created this digital art poster inspired by the 30 articles of The Declaration of Human Rights. We created a common account where the poster's modifications were saved automatically. Then every student was assigned an article to work on. Students engaged in an asynchronous collaboration to create this poster.

    Exchanging Christmas wishes , cards and good actions . Today , the 22nd December , the last day of school before Christmas holidays in Italy, we had a students'meeting to know each other after the December activities done together and we prepared this video for the Croatian team
