Parents' Meeting

  • We are going to organize meetings with the parents of our own students.

We aim to inform them about our activities as a way of dissemination.

Parents can also make comments on activities and evaluate them.

Photos from meetings are going to be shared below.

Zehra Metin - Ali Kuşçu İmam Hatip Secondary School

I organized an online meeting to inform the parents of the project students' about our activities. They were already informed at the beginning of the project but they didn't know all the work we have done so far in detail. I also invited Psychological Counselling Teacher of our school Tuba Okuyar to our meeting and she discussed how she observed positive change in students' behavior after they joined this project. She informed the parents about how this project improved students' intelligence. Not only informational but also emotional intelligence (iq & eq). We applied mentimeter poll to the parents at the beginning of the session to ask what they know about the project and we applied the same poll at the end. Since they were informed about the activities in detail, the second poll ended in a better result.

Anna Belska - J.Pilsudski Daugavpils State Polish Gymnasium (Latvia)

It was the second time I informed students' parents about the project Good Act Epidemic. Parents are satisfied with the project results and evaluated very highly the project activities and results.

Real Colégio de Portugal, Lisbon, Portugal

At Real Colégio we had parents meeting by classes where we presented the developed work and evaluated our participation and impacted in the students and in the community.
We used a presentation (see screenshot of first 2 slides) and in the end invited parents to evaluate in a Google form:

All thought was an amazing project with very positive impact in students and families. To continue!

During the school year parents’ meeting we always informed the representatives of students' parents of the project’s advancements .
Our end of the project survey ( you find evidence of it in the dissemination section) highlights that all parents are satisfied of the project and they are in favor of a future participation of the school to Etwinning projects.

    Tuğba KIRBAŞ- Abdulhamidhan Secondary School

As Abdülhamidhan Secondary school we have informed the parents about the project at the very beginning. I've founded a WhatssApp group involving Students parents and made communication about the project and the activities using that group so all the parents are aware what we have been doing. After my school headmaster had a meeting with the parents of students I gathered my project students' parents and informed them what is going on for the project. I had a usefull feedback there. As we understood from the post-survey of parents they are satisfied with what we have done for the project and eager to make their child join another project next year.
