On "World Kindness Day", I met my students on Zoom (since we're still away from school) and we discussed the importance of this day. We exchanged ideas on how to be polite and decided to take into action starting from our family members. We will make compliments, give them hugs, express love and offer them tea/coffee kindly.

We also played the kahoot game prepared by international team 1. My students enjoyed it and learned new things about this special day. Happy World Kindness Day to all! ❤

Kindness Day
For the kindness day students prepared drawings on what they think "kindness is". Then our students loved very much the activitiy on kindness done by the Croatian students and they wanted to do a similar one. We are using this poster in the class to promote kindness and foster respect among students in our class as we needed to create a better collaboration and acceptance among them. It was a great idea and it is working; they are enjoying choosing a compliment , an act of kindness and giving it to a classmate. Thanks a lot and a big HUG to the Croatian students who had this great idea and inspired this "kind" and beautiful activity and to all the other students and teachers involved in this project

Ibn Rochd Middle School takes part in World Kindness Day by doing a random act of kindness. We launched a school campaign to collect plastic bottle caps for Emel Tounes Charity. The caps that are donated are then sold by the charity to a recycling company. With the money produced there, an electric wheelchair is purchased and then given to someone in need of one.
